Located in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Salón Coravi is a vibrant leisure venue with significant daily footfall. The space was refurbished to refresh its image without interrupting day-to-day operations. The project had a clear objective: to transform perceptions of the venue through design. In this context, luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring became the defining feature of the refurbishment.

The venue experiences very high levels of traffic, meaning every finish needed to meet the demands of the space while maintaining its appearance over time. A bespoke flooring solution was developed to enhance the customer journey and bring character to the interior, becoming a key element in shaping the venue's new identity. By combining five different products from the Amtico Signature collection, the design team created a completely unique floor design tailored to the project. The result is a floor that does more than provide a backdrop, acting instead as a striking visual feature within the space.

This statement design is complemented by a wood-effect area that introduces warmth and balance while maintaining continuity throughout the scheme. Rotterdam Oak was installed in a Stripwood laying pattern, adding natural texture and helping to define a distinct zone within the wider environment. The transition between finishes is subtly enhanced by a gold decorative strip, which accentuates the curved lines of the design while adding a sense of elegance and sophistication.

The bespoke manufacturing process also helped to minimise material waste, delivering a more efficient and sustainable solution.
Each piece was individually manufactured to ensure a perfect fit within the overall design. Supplied in a bevelled 90 x 90 format with protective film, the tiles enabled a fast, clean and precise installation process. This not only helped optimise installation but also ensured a high level of accuracy when assembling the final design.
The result is a space with a renewed visual identity, where vinyl flooring brings character, durability and a distinctive aesthetic.

This project is a perfect example of how a design concept can be brought to life through Amtico's Design Service. The tiles used were not part of Amtico's standard collection; each element was individually manufactured to order and installed on site to create a truly bespoke flooring design.

Stripwood is a classic and elegant laying pattern characterised by slim, elongated planks. It creates a refined and sophisticated look, making it well suited to both contemporary and timeless interior schemes.
